Ladies Armed Shooting Society will recognize USPSA Current Handgun Rules
We will strive for "sportswomanlike" conduct during the sport and will be guided by the United States Practical Shooting Association Current Handgun Rules in this matter. LASS will not tolerate conduct that is unsafe or of malicious intent.
LASS will recognize USPSA rules in all matters of Ladies Armed Shooting Society Matches.

Gun Handling Safety Rules
(These rules CAN NEVER be changed in sequence)
1. Point the gun in a SAFE DIRECTION
2. Keep your FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER until you are ready to shoot
3. Keep the gun UNLOADED until you are ready to use it

The aforementioned sequence of range commands Starts and Ends a Course of Fire.
IMPORTANT Safety Notice:
Come to the range with an UNLOADED and CASED firearm. Safety Areas are designated on the range for UNCASING firearms only if you are holstering. DO NOT UNCASE if you do not have a holster. DO NOT LOAD a firearm until you are told to do so by the Range Officer at the beginning of a Course of Fire. You must follow the Range Officer's commands and cannot load your firearm on any range utilized for LASS without a Range Officer present and only to begin a course of fire.
- Make Ready
- Are You Ready
- Standby (within 4 seconds audible and/or visual signal)
- Stop (if necessary)
- If You Are Finished, Unload And Show Clear
- If Clear, Hammer Down, Holster
- Range Is Clear
